Office Administrator – Griffith
Proudly family owned and operated, A&G Engineering Pty Ltd is a leading national fabricator, wholesaler and distributor of stainless-steel products. Founded in 1963, the business currently employs over 120 staff across multiple manufacturing and retail facilities in Australia.
Due to an internal promotion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our team.
This role will include involvement in all aspects of accounts payable and general office administration.
Key duties include:
- Answering incoming calls and greeting main office visitors
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Administrative support for various departments
- Distributing supplier invoices for review and approval
- Creating and reviewing purchase orders
- Entering invoices into the company ERP system
- Collating and reconciling supplier invoices to statements
- Preparing timely and accurate payment runs
- Creating and maintaining supplier accounts
- Reconciling and maintaining the fixed assets register
- Managing fuel and toll accounts
- FX trades and payments
The ideal candidate will have:
- Competency in use of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
- Experience in administration desirable.
- Clear and professional communication style.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask assigned tasks
