A&G Engineering is seeking a Workshop Leading Hand to join our manufacturing team in Griffith, NSW.
A&G is recognised as one of Australia’s leading designers and fabricators of stainless-steel tanks and equipment. With over 60 years of experience and manufacturing facilities across NSW and Victoria, we continue to deliver high-quality engineering solutions across Australia and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate workshop manufacturing activities in collaboration with the Foreman and Production Manager
- Supervise boilermakers, apprentices, and labour staff
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with SWMS and company procedures
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement controls
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and equipment care
- Perform trade tasks in line with drawings and specifications
About You
- Trade-qualified Boilermaker (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Leading Hand or similar supervisory role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Problem-solving ability and leadership mindset
